After 10 years of experience in hair and makeup her stylist professionalism is something to watch for now and in the years to come. In 2008, she began pursuing that dream and within a year many praised her amazing skills and unique talent in hair color and makeup. By 2009 she graduated from Central Carolina Community College. Receiving her cosmetology license. Quickly embarking in the pursuit of her career, she decided to become a cosmetology Instructor and received her License in 2013. While in school she earned “Up-do and color” best award Certificate. As part of her journey, in 2013, she acquired the opportunity as an Artistic Educator for Pravana.” I Love the way Pravana welcomes every individual and allows those of us that have big dreams and passion for Hair Color and beauty the opportunity to grow and succeed.”
Miriam Del Toro uses hair to express the beauty within her heart, staying closely in touch with her feelings of beauty and those of her client. An approach to show women and men that, “a tweak in your looks will change the reflection of your heart, mind, and soul.” She has earned the coordinator/ Instructor educator position in Lenoir Community College, the largest cosmetology school in the State of North Carolina. Miriam is currently recognized for her enthusiasm and teaching skills as cosmetology instructor with over 70 students in the program.. Her strength as an educator is proven by the large number of licensed graduates that she has guided through her courses.
Miriam is a diverse beauty professional in addition to hair service skills she also proficient in makeup services. She received her Certification in Professional Makeup, this helped her also earn the award of “ Fantasy makeup” in Central Carolina Community College 2013, a State contest among several other colleges in the region. Mrs. Del Toro has participated as an elite hair & Makeup stylist for the beauty contest Nuestra Belleza Carolina for 3 consecutive years. Miriam worked as main stylist for the First Place contestant in Reina Latina 2014. She have been able to work closely with Photographers doing hair & Makeup for photoshoots, Weeding’s and Quinceañeras. One of her many achievements working closely with the students and been able to include the community.
Have host and organized for three consecutive years amazing Hair Shows. As a Pravana representative Miriam has traveled to many hair salons to instruct and give professional stylist and students the opportunity and guidance to work one on one with the Pravana color line. “My true passion is to be a fantastic hair and makeup stylist that brings out the best in each person I work with. Whether I am educating or styling an Individual, I look to make them feel happy and beautiful.”
